Page Six reports Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein arrived at an LA party in the same car despite both insisting they are not dating.
The Same-Car Sighting That Reignited the Talk
According to Page Six, Jennifer Lopez and her 'Office Romance' co-star Brett Goldstein were spotted arriving at and leaving talent manager Cade Hudson's exclusive Los Angeles party on Oct. 16, reportedly in the same car — though they made a point of entering separately.
Lopez, in a sleek black leather midi dress with a plunging neckline, walked in alongside her longtime manager Benny Medina, while Goldstein arrived solo in an all-black ensemble. Tyla picked up the report, noting the pair previously denied dating rumors outright.
Why the Rumor Mill Refuses to Quit
The two starred together in this summer's Netflix romcom 'Office Romance,' and Page Six exclusively reported earlier this summer that Lopez, 57, and Goldstein, 46, 'kept things professional on set while filming but their chemistry was undeniable.'
An insider told Page Six they flirted on set, got 'very cozy' at the wrap party, and once filming wrapped 'dated for quite some time' before things 'just sort of fizzled out.' The reversal angle is what makes this sighting so talkable: co-stars who publicly said 'not dating' are now sharing a car.
Goldstein's Long-Standing Crush, On the Record
Outlets report Goldstein had publicly declared affection for Lopez years before they met. On his podcast 'Films To Be Buried With,' he gushed over her 'Hustlers' performance — 'F–king hell.
50!' he exclaimed of her age at the time. 'She's 50.
I love her.' He added, 'I've never wanted to be cuddled more.
That is one of the best cuddles.' Tyla dates that episode to December 2019, while Page Six cites July 2018; both agree the crush long predates their film.
The Awkward 'Today' Show Denial
While promoting 'Office Romance,' the pair batted away the romance rumors in an uncomfortable interview on 'Today.' 'There's never a time when I'm seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don't try to put me with the person,' Lopez said.
Goldstein chimed in, 'I think if you stand near her, that's what happens.' When Savannah Guthrie pressed — 'OK, so you're not dating in real life?' — Lopez replied 'Not dating,' and Goldstein added 'Correct.'
Representatives for both did not return Page Six's requests for comment.
Friends First: Where It Stands Now
The insider's framing, as reported by Page Six, is that there is 'no bad blood' and the pair remain on good terms — but the romance window may be closed. 'It just kind of came to a lull.
They have a good friendship but in terms of romantic chemistry, that ship has sort of sailed,' the source said. Despite 'a really strong physical attraction,' they reportedly 'just felt like they were better off friends than anyone else.'
Whether the same-car exit means a rekindling or just a friendly ride remains the question fans are debating.
