Billy Ray Cyrus popped the question to girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley after more than a year of dating, with sources confirming the engagement to Page Six.

The country singer, 65, and the English actress and model, 61, went public with their romance on Easter Sunday in 2025 after first meeting on the set of the 2022 holiday film "Christmas in Paradise" and reconnecting in February 2025.

TMZ reports that Cyrus got down on one knee and Hurley said yes, though it is unclear when or where the proposal took place. Neither star has made an official announcement in the material cited by these outlets, and a rep for Cyrus could not be reached for comment.

The pairing initially raised eyebrows — an American country star and a British actress and model from very different worlds.

But Hurley told the "SheerLuxe" podcast earlier this month, "There are a lot more similarities than you'd think," joking, "We have the same hair. Identical hair. Apart from his beard, we're actually like twins."

Speaking to Page Six in May, she explained that Cyrus's farm in Tennessee feels very similar to her farm in Gloucestershire, so "in a way it kind of feels normal."

Cyrus told People in June, "There was something in the opposites of us... that maybe not only got other people's attention but even our own," adding that Hurley understands "the insanity that I have lived through in this crazy show business."

The clues stacked up fast this week. Hurley sparked rumors on October 12 when she posted behind-the-scenes selfies in a white bathrobe from the set of "The 'Burbs" Season 2, wearing a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger — without mentioning it in her caption, "Day 1 on set #TheBurbs."

An insider told Page Six, "She's filming 'The 'Burbs'; I hardly think this ring is a prop." Then on October 15, Cyrus posted an Instagram promoting his single "Party's in the Back" with Deltona, ending with, "Kinda has a ring 💍 to it."

Hurley's son, Damian, liked the post and replied with a celebratory 🥳 emoji, per TMZ.

If they make it to the altar, it would be a fourth marriage for Cyrus and the second for Hurley.

Cyrus was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 and to Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2023, the same year he married Firerose; that union ended in 2024, with the Australian singer accusing him of abuse, which he denied, according to Page Six.

He has six children, including superstar daughter Miley Cyrus. Hurley dated Hugh Grant from 1987 to 2000, had son Damian with the late producer Steve Bing, married businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011, and was engaged to cricketer Shane Warne from 2011 until their 2013 split.

Away from the spotlight, the couple has built a quiet country routine split between Cyrus's Tennessee farm and Hurley's countryside home in England. Hurley told People in June that their time together includes her using power tools in the garden while Cyrus strums his guitar beneath a tree.

"We obsessively watch birds of prey and light lots of bonfires," she said, calling it "bliss."

As of publication, neither Cyrus nor Hurley has publicly announced the engagement in the material cited by outlets, and TMZ reports reps for both stars have not responded to inquiries. No wedding date has been revealed.
