Hailey Bieber's Sold-Out Gap Jeans Return to Shelves

After the July capsule sold out in under 10 minutes, Gap restocked both Hailey Jean styles on October 2, per WWD, SheKnows and Marie Claire.

Gap restocked The Hailey Jean on Friday, October 2 at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT, available on gap.com and in Gap stores, according to SheKnows. The limited-edition capsule from Hailey Bieber brings back both original styles — the Hailey Extra Baggy Jean and the Hailey Low Rise Loose Jean — each priced at $89.95 and offered in sizes 23 to 35. Both are cut from rigid, non-stretch denim and come in the same three washes as the summer launch: Midnight Indigo, Medium Indigo and Light Indigo. Bieber-coded details carry over too, including "1996" hardware and back patches referencing her birth year, plus her signature printed inside the pocket lining.

The original collection launched July 16 and sold out in less than 10 minutes — a figure WWD says it counted firsthand. WWD reports that even superfans who set dedicated alarms for the drop couldn't grab the jeans fast enough, leading to widespread disappointment. Who What Wear credits the frenzy to a TikTok For You page filled with videos about the collaboration, noting it seemed everyone in fashion wanted a pair, which persuaded Gap to make more. Marie Claire adds that Bieber has worn her favorite Gap jeans over 15 times since last August, so the capsule merely formalized a look fans already wanted to copy.

The collection leans hard on a retro mood. Marie Claire reports the campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Alastair McKimm, channels the '90s feel of the Low Rise Loose — including a shirtless Kate Moss–mode close-up and a two-shirt crop-top look. A teaser short directed by Charlie Di Placido, described by WWD, shows Bieber loading a CD as "Linger" by The Cranberries plays, lounging in an inflatable chair and taking point-and-shoot selfies. "Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically," Bieber said in her official statement.

SheKnows notes Gap is also running a sale of up to 60% on jeans, tees and sweaters. WWD frames the $89.95 capsule itself as affordable luxury — sumptuous 100% cotton at a price most denim no longer matches.
