Startup Natura unveiled the $99 Interface smart ring, which pairs full health tracking with one-press access to AI agents like Claude and ChatGPT.

A ring built for the agentic era

Natura, a hardware startup founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris of accessories maker Rolling Square, announced Interface, a smart ring that lets users press a button, speak, and release to send a request to an AI agent. The ring connects to Meta's Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude, and ChatGPT, and users can route tasks to whichever agent suits them — Claude to write code, Instinct to book a reservation, Grokbot for the rest. Replies arrive through headphones, an iPhone Live Activity, or the NatureOS app.

Why the $99 price is the surprise

Natura says Interface costs about as much to make as an Oura ring because they share components, and the company is covering the difference for early adopters. After an initial three- to six-month free period, Natura plans to charge $9 per month. Founder Ferraris frames the low price as a deliberate move to reduce adoption barriers.

Health tracking, not an afterthought

Interface is not just a voice button: it tracks heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep stages, steps, and skin temperature, putting it in direct competition with health-focused rings from Oura, Ultrahuman, and RingConn. Ferraris argues the ring combines the two worlds — health rings and AI wearables like Pebble and Vocci — with long battery life and a compact size. The battery lasts six to 12 days depending on use, and a full charge takes 100 minutes.

Everyday use cases the company describes

Natura paints a picture of ambient, screenless computing: a runner asks the ring to start tracking a workout, it pulls the day's schedule at wake-up, reorders shampoo mid-shower, turns off the TV before bed, and sends meeting notes to a coworker. According to GamesBeat, the ring worn on the index finger can store up to two hours of meeting audio without syncing to a phone, and NatureOS asks for approval before any action that needs it. Ferraris says voice sits at the center of Natura's philosophy against screen addiction.

The stakes for a young market

Smart rings have struggled to break out of a health-tracking niche, with rivals such as Limitless Pendant, Friend, Pebble Index, and Sandbar focused on transcription, companionship, or limited voice commands, per GamesBeat. Ferraris goes further: "Ultimately, the main interface between users and technology is going to be the ring."

What comes next

Pre-orders open next month, with Natura planning to ship in December or January, per TechCrunch; GamesBeat reports the waitlist opens today at natura.inc › interface, with shipping set for January 2027 and a live presentation in San Francisco on November 9. The stainless steel ring is a 7.35 mm band in US sizes 7 to 13 with a sealed waterproof design, and its white LED lights up whenever it records, GamesBeat notes. Health features remain in validation, so buyers will want confirmation of final specs before ordering.
