According to RTTNews, The Red Clay Strays will headline the grand opening of Regions Arena in their hometown of Mobile, Alabama, on March 26, 2027. The band will be the first act ever to perform at the new 10,000-capacity Gulf Coast venue, with St. Paul & The Broken Bones set to support. The concert will celebrate the band's latest album, 'Grateful,' released in June through HBYCO Records and RCA Records. Tickets are on sale now. "We are looking forward to playing a hometown show again!" the band said. "We've been gone way too long!"

That Eric Alper reports the band is currently on the 'Grateful Tour '26,' the biggest headlining swing of its career, with remaining stops including Toronto's RBC Amphitheatre, Pittsburgh's PPG Paints Arena, Orlando's Kia Center, and two consecutive nights at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena before wrapping at Atlanta's State Farm Arena in November. Earlier in the run, the band played Madison Square Garden, Boston's TD Garden, Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena and Vancouver's Rogers Arena. For a Mobile band whose rise has accelerated quickly, being asked to christen a brand-new arena in its own city is a striking marker of how far the audience has grown.

That Eric Alper notes the group is triple platinum-certified and has built its following on a collision of country, rock, Southern soul and revival-tent intensity, a sound engineered for big rooms. The opening gig also extends the 'Grateful' campaign well past the current tour, giving the 11-track album a second headline moment months after its June release.

Plenty of highway remains before the hometown homecoming. That Eric Alper's reported schedule runs through Louisville's Bourbon & Beyond, Texas, Florida, the Carolinas, the two-night Bridgestone stand in October, and November dates in Louisiana and Arkansas leading into the Atlanta finale, with guests along the way including Sierra Ferrell, Travis Tritt, Wyatt Flores and The Revivalists.
