Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo will bring 'Giggly Squad' to Madison Square Garden on Feb. 18, 2027, the first women to host a podcast there.
The First Female-Hosted Podcast at the Garden
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo's 'Giggly Squad' will bring its live recording to Madison Square Garden on Feb. 18, 2027, as part of a broader U.S. and European tour.
The outlet calls it a first: no female-hosted podcast has ever performed at the venue.
'Paige, we're the first female podcast to play Madison Square Garden,' Hannah says in the duo's announcement video, per TAG24, with Paige jokingly taking issue with the wording before the pair laughed off the distinction.
Why It Is a Genuinely Surprising First
Madison Square Garden has hosted podcasts before — The Hollywood Reporter notes that Kill Tony Live, with Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban, and The Basement Yard, hosted by Joe Santagato and Frank Alvarez, have recorded shows there, and Knicks players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart brought their Roommates Show to the arena's theater.
But all of those headliners were men. AOL frames the February date as making Berner and DeSorbo the first women to headline the famous arena — a milestone few would have predicted for two reality-TV alums whose show started as pandemic-era Instagram Lives.
The Announcement Video
TAG24 describes the announcement video, in which the two co-hosts walk into MSG as their faces light up the jumbotron. 'We're finally gonna learn how they change the ice into a basketball court?'
Paige jokes, riffing on the arena's famous conversions. The clip doubles as the ticket drop: TAG24 reports that presale tickets opened Tuesday, with a general sale slated for Friday — and warns fans to move fast, since previously announced tour dates have already sold out.
The Receipts: Podcast of the Year and a $160M Deal
The milestone comes with an arsenal of accolades.
The Hollywood Reporter and AOL both note that 'Giggly Squad' was named podcast of the year at the 2026 iHeartPodcast Awards, that the show has toured 70 cities including two shows at Radio City Music Hall, and that it spun off the New York Times bestselling book 'How to Giggle.'
Both also report the duo recently moved to SiriusXM in a multiyear deal valued at $160 million, according to sources familiar with the matter, with new programming expected to roll out in 2027.
From Summer House to the Highest-Paid Podcaster List
The arc is the part comedy fans love to retell.
Berner and DeSorbo launched the show on Instagram Live in 2020 while rising to fame on Bravo's 'Summer House,' and it has since grown into a top 10 comedy podcast streaming twice weekly, covering their lives, dating, pop culture and fashion, per The Hollywood Reporter.
TAG24 adds that Forbes listed the former Bravo stars among its highest-paid podcasters in August, with estimated earnings of $18 million, and says the pair inked a deal with Netflix and Amy Poehler to star in a TV series playing 'fictionalized versions of themselves.'
What Comes Next for the Giggly Squad
The Garden date sits at the center of a busy slate. Beyond the U.S. and European tour, The Hollywood Reporter says new 'Giggly Squad' programming under SiriusXM is expected in 2027, while TAG24 reports the Netflix series with Amy Poehler is also in the works.
For a genre where live arenas are still rare currency, the first female-hosted podcast at Madison Square Garden sets a marker the next wave of comedy podcasters will be measured against — and the sold-out tour dates suggest the audience is already there.
