Lucki, Rap's Famous 'Gemini!', Allegedly Stabbed at ComplexCon

Chicago rapper Lucki was allegedly stabbed in a scuffle at ComplexCon, reportedly tied to Playboi Carti's entourage.

The Chicago rapper Lucki was allegedly stabbed during a scuffle at ComplexCon in Los Angeles involving a member of Playboi Carti's entourage, per Hip-Hop Wired and The Economic Times. Two videos surfaced online, according to Hip-Hop Wired: one appears to show the backstage altercation, with what looks like Carti standing over a black truck door watching it unfold; a second appears to show Lucki trying to escape the scene with what looks like blood coming from his neck. He initially seemed to try to reach the driver's seat before being placed in the backseat. As of Sunday morning, there was no confirmation of what led to the fight and no official update on Lucki's condition, with Hip-Hop Wired promising more news as the story develops.

For devoted followers, the shock is the setting and the allegedly involved party as much as the violence. Lucki built his reputation in the underground, and per The Economic Times, only recently broke into the mainstream with the singles New Drank and Super Urus — making an alleged backstage clash at a marquee culture event like ComplexCon a jarring turn. Hip-Hop Wired notes the alleged incident also intersects with what it describes as Lucki's history of beef with Playboi Carti, a rivalry its related coverage revisits in light of the clash. The cause of the confrontation remains unclear, so readers should treat all details as allegations, not established facts.

That astrological reading is interpretation, not fact: no astrologer cited in the pack has commented on the incident. What the reporting does establish is the measurable arc of a career that astrologically minded fans love to narrate — a 2013 breakout with the Alternative Trap mixtape, projects like Watch My Back (2017) and Freewave 3 (2019), EPs Days B4 III and Almost There after joining Empire, then Flawless Like Me (2022), S*x M*ney Dr*gs (2023) at No. 15, Gemini! at No. 20, and Dr*gs R Bad debuting at No. 9, his first Billboard 200 top 10.

The stakes are both personal and professional. There is still no official word on Lucki's condition, per Hip-Hop Wired, and no confirmation of what transpired during the alleged altercation — meaning the story could develop in any direction, from a full recovery and quiet resolution to legal or label consequences. The Economic Times, citing a Rapcovermedia report, says Lucki reportedly has more than $28 million, and notes he hinted at his wealth in a 2025 tweet: "I got more M's than my age." A 16-year-old high-school dropout who rapped his way to a reported eight-figure net worth now faces the most serious public crisis of that rise. Expect official statements, video analysis and, once the dust settles, the fan-driven astrology discourse that follows every Lucki chapter.
