Vincent Mason will headline the 21-date 'When You're Not Around' tour in 2027, including a hometown show at Atlanta's Tabernacle.
Mason Announces His Biggest Headline Run Yet
Vincent Mason is turning his breakout into a full national tour.
According to That Eric Alper, the Georgia country singer announced on November 3, 2026 a 21-date headline run, the 'When You're Not Around Tour,' beginning February 11, 2027 at The Factory at The District in St. Louis and running through May 8 in Wilmington, North Carolina.
The routing hits major venues in Denver, Charlotte, Fort Worth, Cleveland and beyond, with Jacob Hackworth, Benny G and Phil Kane joining as special guests on select dates. Tickets go on sale November 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
A 2026 Breakout Now Filling Bigger Rooms
What makes the announcement striking is how quickly Mason has climbed. That Eric Alper reports his recordings have passed 900 million global streams, with two singles — 'Hell Is a Dance Floor' and 'Damned If I Do' — reaching RIAA Platinum certification.
The songs come from his major label debut album 'There I Go,' which That Eric Alper credits with establishing his blend of modern country songwriting and emotional honesty.
His duet with Stella Lefty, 'Something To Lose,' has reached the Top 25 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart, per the same report.
The Evidence: Awards, Late Night and a No. 1
The résumé behind the tour, as laid out by That Eric Alper, reads like a rapid ascent.
Spotify named Mason one of only four country performers in its 2026 Artists to Watch program, he earned an ACM nomination for New Male Artist of the Year, and he made his late-night television debut on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'
He also reached No. 1 on Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart. Earlier in 2026 he sold out his own 'There I Go Tour' through Houston, Nashville, New York and Boston, and joined Morgan Wallen's 'Still The Problem Tour' for select stadium dates.
He Joins Nashville's Arena-Scale Class
Mason is not alone in graduating to bigger stages.
TicketNews reported that Zach Top added new arena dates to his 'Cold Beer & Country Music Tour,' including a headlining show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on October 30, with special guests Lukas Nelson, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, and Wyatt McCubbin on select fall dates.
That Eric Alper also notes Mason's international résumé, with performances in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia — evidence that a young class of traditional-leaning country acts is scaling well beyond club rooms.
A Busy, Bittersweet Moment for the Genre
The tour news lands during an emotional stretch for country fans. ABC News reports that stars including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Reba McEntire and Kacey Musgraves paid tribute after Dolly Parton died at 80, with President Donald Trump saying he would lower the American flag for a week in her honor.
Against that backdrop, a new generation headlining rooms like Atlanta's historic Tabernacle feels like both passing of a torch and proof the pipeline keeps producing.
What Comes Next: On-Sale and a Homecoming
Per That Eric Alper, tickets go on sale November 6 at 10 a.m. local time, and the itinerary mixes celebrated venues with intimate rooms where Mason's conversational storytelling can land directly.
The most meaningful stop may be March 4, when he headlines Atlanta's Tabernacle in the state where his musical story began.
With guest spots for Jacob Hackworth, Benny G and Phil Kane across the routing — including Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth and Denver's Mission Ballroom — the run positions Mason to carry his 2026 momentum deep into 2027.
