Jerry Seinfeld will leave Caesars Palace for a 12-show 2027 residency at Wynn's 1,480-seat Encore Theater, opening on Big Game Weekend.
Seinfeld books 12 shows at Encore Theater
Jerry Seinfeld is launching an all-new Las Vegas residency at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas in 2027, as announced Friday by AEG Presents and resort officials.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, the comedian will perform 12 shows, opening with four performances February 11–13, 2027, during what the announcement called Big Game Weekend — ahead of Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium on February 14. He returns for four shows June 10–12 and a final four October 28–30.
In a statement, Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, called Jerry "one of the most renowned names in comedy" and said the company looks forward to bringing his signature stand-up to audiences in "such an intimate setting."
Both outlets report the shows all take place inside the 1,480-seat theater.
A quiet move after 100 shows at Caesars
What makes this booking notable for Vegas-watchers is where Seinfeld is not performing.
The Las Vegas Sun notes he is a longtime Strip headliner who first played the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2003 and logged his 100th show there in September 2024 — so an entirely new theater home at the Wynn amounts to a venue switch for an artist who spent more than two decades at one address.
According to FOX5 Vegas, the announcement included the resort's welcome from Reynolds on behalf of AEG Presents and Wynn Las Vegas. Per the Sun, Seinfeld marked the news by filming comedic vignettes throughout the Wynn rather than issuing a standard press release.
The intimate-theater bet
The scale is the fan-facing hook: Encore Theater seats just 1,480 people, and both the Las Vegas Sun's and FOX5 Vegas's reports emphasize the 'intimate setting' language from AEG Presents.
For a comedian whose residency history runs to 100-plus performances in a larger Caesars showroom, a dozen nights in a room that size makes tickets considerably scarcer per capita.
Showtimes follow a consistent pattern across all three weekends — 8 p.m. the first two nights, then 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on the closing Saturday. FOX5 Vegas lists the full calendar: February 11–13, June 10–12, and October 28–30, 2027, all at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.
Tickets, and a career worth the trip
On-sale timing differs between the two reports: the Las Vegas Sun says tickets for the 12 shows go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday through ticketmaster.com, while FOX5 Vegas reports the public on-sale is Friday, Nov.
6, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster — fans should check both before buying.
Whoever shows up will see a résumé both outlets trace from his 1981 'Tonight Show' debut with Johnny Carson through 'Seinfeld,' the NBC sitcom he co-created with Larry David that TV Guide named the greatest television show of all time in 2002.
The Las Vegas Sun adds his Emmy-nominated Netflix special '23 Hours to Kill,' 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,' the Emmy-nominated film 'Unfrosted,' and best-selling books 'Seinlanguage' and 'Is This Anything?' Details are available at wynnlasvegas.com.
