Gnarls Barkley canceled every date of its 'To Whom It Still Concerns' North American tour on October 30, six days before the San Francisco opener.
What happened: the whole run is gone
Gnarls Barkley has canceled all announced North American concerts on its "To Whom It Still Concerns" tour, just days before the first show was due.
The opening night was scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026, at The Masonic in San Francisco, with a finale set for November 28 at the House of Blues in Chicago.
The cancellation was announced on October 30, leaving six days before the opener, and Ticketmaster has since marked every performance as canceled. Buyers have been told refunds will be issued, and no replacement dates or postponement schedule have been announced.
Why it is surprising
The tour had been promoted as Gnarls Barkley's first concert run in eighteen years, a comeback pitched by promoter Live Nation when the itinerary was published on September 18. That means the entire outing was canceled less than two months after it was announced, according to Pollstar.
The original plan covered nine cities across the US and Canada, with a later-added second New York night bringing the schedule to ten performances. The reason has not been publicly explained, and Pollstar reports that CeeLo Green and Live Nation did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Danger Mouse question hanging over it
The cancellation drew extra attention because the tour's lineup had already been a point of confusion.
KarloBag reports that Danger Mouse was never scheduled to perform: on September 22, Pollstar relayed a statement saying the tour was always conceived as a CeeLo Green-led program, and Green later confirmed the producer's absence so fans would not be misled, with shows promoted as "CeeLo Green performing Gnarls Barkley."
A Danger Mouse representative said an agreement allowed Green to use the duo's name. Both outlets note no confirmation links the lineup discussion to the cancellation — treating that as cause would be speculation.
The stakes for ticket buyers
For fans, the practical fallout matters as much as the news.
Ticketmaster states that for canceled events buyers generally need not file individual refund requests: money returns to the original payment method once the organizer's funds arrive, typically within 14 to 21 days, and Pollstar reports that timeframe was cited in notifications.
KarloBag cautions that resold, transferred or third-party tickets may follow different rules, and that refunds do not cover flights, hotels or other travel expenses booked separately. Fans are also advised to beware scams asking for card details after cancellation notices.
What comes next
The canceled tour was meant to cap a year that KarloBag describes as intended to close the duo's recording story: the album "Atlanta" arrived March 6 with thirteen tracks, the first joint release since 2008's "The Odd Couple," following the single "Pictures" in late February.
With all ten dates dead and no official explanation, fans are left watching order statuses and refund timelines rather than venue doors. Whether any dates are rebooked remains unknown, and Green and Live Nation have so far stayed silent, per Pollstar.
