Anime News Network separately reports that the original anime *Inherit the Winds* (*Kaze wo Tsugumono*) has unveiled a trailer for its advanced two-week theatrical screening starting November 13, theme songs from Quruli and hitsujibungaku, and Takaya Kamikawa joining the cast as Umeda Shinbei, ahead of a January 2027 TV debut on the Agaru Anime block. Per ANN, the Bakumatsu-era story stars Daisuke Sakuma as Tachikawa Jinsuke and Yūki Kaji as Okita Sōji.
