The AstroTwins note that the last time Venus split a retrograde between Scorpio and Libra coincided with the peak of the #MeToo movement and a wave of women winning U.S. government seats in the 2018 midterms — and they note this cycle again coincides with midterms. Scorpio and Libra are the zodiac's two most relationship-oriented signs, so the split is read, in their framing, as a deep review of intimacy first (Scorpio) followed by questions of fairness and reciprocity (Libra).
