President Donald Trump posted a map on Truth Social on Monday depicting Canada, Greenland, Mexico, Cuba, Iceland, Central America and the Caribbean covered by the US flag, with the entire landmass labelled only "United States of America" and no accompanying commentary. Iceland's foreign ministry said Foreign Minister Thorgerdur Katrín Gunnarsdóttir summoned US Ambassador Billy Long, who formally took up the post only last month, and made it "unambiguously" clear that the image was "completely inappropriate," according to dpa reporting carried by Yahoo.
