TikTok's Creator Networks Add AI Aide LIVE Bax
By @sharedot · · 6 pages
TikTok says its Creator Networks programme will pair creators with coaching and an AI assistant, while warning it guarantees no instant income.
What TikTok Unveiled in Bangkok
According to The Rakyat Post, TikTok highlighted its Creator Networks programme at the Global Creator Networks Summit held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok on September 15. Under TikTok LIVE, the networks are run with third-party agencies that provide personalised one-to-one coaching, advice and feedback to help creators sharpen their livestreaming skills. The Rakyat Post reports the networks can also advise creators on increasing viewership, choosing suitable times to go LIVE, building communities and improving overall livestream performance, with creators able to exchange knowledge and experiences with others in the ecosystem.
Meet LIVE Bax, the AI Assistant
The most surprising piece of the announcement, as The Rakyat Post describes it, is LIVE Bax, an AI-powered operational platform introduced to help Creator Networks record and analyse creators' performance. TikTok Head of LIVE Creator Networks, Product and Strategy, Claire Li, told the outlet that the assistant helps network teams obtain information and data about creators' content while streamlining their daily tasks. The scale behind the tool is striking: The Rakyat Post reports Li saying more than 240 million creators worldwide went LIVE on TikTok in 2025, almost double the 2024 figure, and that TikTok expects the global livestream entertainment market to surpass US$200 billion by 2030.
No Promise of Instant Cash
Perhaps the most counterintuitive point The Rakyat Post highlights is TikTok's own admission that Creator Networks do not guarantee a sudden increase in income. The programme instead focuses on improving content quality, boosting audience engagement and helping creators develop potential additional income streams. The Rakyat Post also notes the programme is not limited to established creators or online sellers: TikTok says individuals looking to generate income, including single mothers, can seek guidance from Creator Networks. That framing matters for Malaysians, whom the outlet reports are turning to content creation and online businesses as alternative income streams amid rising living costs.
The Stakes: Big Money, Real Limits
The stakes are captured by the numbers The Rakyat Post cites — 240 million live creators and a projected US$200 billion market by 2030 — and by LIVE's interactive appeal, since viewers can ask a clothing seller about sizing and get an immediate answer rather than waiting for a reply. In Malaysia, The Rakyat Post reports that agency W Talent works with TikTok LIVE under the programme to support local creators. But the same day's news also showed the limits creators face: Pointblank News reports Nigeria's Kano Hisbah Board arrested 27-year-old TikTok creator Ukasha Yahaya, known as UK International, over videos with women, and says he will be charged to court after its investigation — a reminder that creator income rides on shifting platform, legal and cultural rules.
