Reggie claims a judge issued a 12-month stay-away order against him in the Kai Cenat dispute, while insisting Kai never actually sued him.
Reggie Says a Judge Ordered a 12-Month Stay-Away
On November 3, 2026, YouTuber Reginald "Reggie," known online as "Lil Rodney Son," told viewers after a court appearance that a judge ordered him to stay away from Twitch star Kai Cenat for 12 months.
Both The Times of India and Primetimer report that Reggie announced the restriction via Instagram Stories and a livestream, saying: "The court ruled that I have to stay away from that guy for 12 months that's all nun more nun less."
According to Primetimer, citing The Shade Room's clip of the broadcast, Reggie also stressed he was never facing financial damages, insisting "he would never be sued."
Why the Rumors of a Major Lawsuit Were Wrong
What makes this development surprising is the reversal of the story fans had been told.
The Times of India reports that Kai had threatened legal action during a September 30 livestream — declaring "I'm suing you, bro!" — and that his team later sent a cease-and-desist letter on October 2 demanding Reggie remove videos his lawyers called false and misleading.
According to TheGrio via Primetimer, online rumors suggested Cenat was filing a major lawsuit, but Reggie went live on November 3 to clear the air. He told viewers on TikTok: "I was never getting sued... He can't even sue me," framing the outcome as a protective order rather than a damages suit.
'He Can't Even Sue Me': Reggie on the Stream
The moment spread because Reggie delivered it live and in character. In the TikTok livestream The Times of India describes, he praised his lawyer, called the court appearance "amazing," and declared himself "a free man" who was "finna buy a chain tomorrow."
He also said he had no intention of going near Kai: "I don't have no intention of going around him. I don't want to harm that guy... I just rap." Primetimer, via The Shade Room, adds that he even joked about his song being played in court.
Reggie framed the ruling as closing the book on the dispute — not the opening of a damages battle.
Unverified Terms and What Comes Next
Caution is warranted: the exact 12-month period has not been confirmed through a public court record or a statement from Kai's side.
The Times of India reports that other accounts described Kai as receiving a stalking protective order with reported restrictions including staying away from AMP properties and not speaking about Kai directly or indirectly — terms not verified through a public court document.
The dispute began after Reggie made allegations involving Cenat and Twitch streamer RaKai, which Kai rejected on stream. As of November 5, Kai had not publicly responded to Reggie's latest comments, and the order's full terms remain based on Reggie's account.
