Twitch star Jynxzi has acquired the undefeated Rainbow Six Siege squad FYR Strays from CAMPFYR and rebranded it as Jynxzi Esports.

The streamer becomes an owner

Ubisoft announced the deal on its official news platform on November 6, 2026, noting that the Twitch streamer has collaborated with the company on several Siege events.

Insider Gaming reports that the organization originates from the Netherlands but competes in North America, and that Jynxzi now owns a Tier 2 NA roster. It is his first step into team management after years as the game's most visible creator.

Why the roster is a prize

The squad Jynxzi picked up is not a vanity project. Founded in 2026, the team went undefeated in its inaugural season, taking first prize at the NA Open Cup Palmetto Bay 2026 and the NA Open Cup Finals 2026, according to Ubisoft.

SiegeGG reports the players first won ELEMENT FIVE before winning back-to-back NA Open Cups, and that the roster secured almost USD$25,000 across three tournaments in three months. Insider Gaming notes the team once called itself 'the most dominant team to ever compete in T2.'

The active roster includes Bootz, Franklin, Jayyguns, Looo, Mingo and Chixtt, with Mingo reportedly the most popular at 570,000 Twitch followers.

Already deep in the qualification picture

Ubisoft states that the FYR Strays have qualified directly into the Six Invitational Last Chance Qualifier playoff phase, where eight teams will battle in best-of-three double-elimination matches for a coveted spot at the next SI.

The team also qualified directly into the playoff phase for the Challenger Finals tournament, and if they win, they will earn a place in the Blast R6 Tier 1 North America League in 2027.

A creator-first team for the Siege scene

SiegeGG calls Jynxzi's investment in his own team huge news for the Rainbow Six Siege scene, and notes that even the official Rainbow Six Siege Esports social channels commented on the move.

The outlet also speculates that if Jynxzi Esports is accepted into the R6 Share Program, fans could one day see team drone skins, weapon skins, operator skins, charms and card backgrounds.

Jynxzi already has official cosmetics in the game, including the Jynxzi MVP Bundle and a Chibi weapon charm tied to subscribing to his channel, per Ubisoft — so the crossover between his brand and the game is deep before ownership even factors in.

What comes next for Jynxzi Esports

The immediate test is competitive: the Challenger Finals playoff run, where a win would deliver a Tier 1 North America League berth for 2027, followed by the Six Invitational Last Chance Qualifier.

SiegeGG writes that the outfit feels far from the future of Jynxzi team cosmetics until the squad's Tier 1 status is settled.

For the creator economy, the deal extends a pattern of top streamers turning audiences into organizations — and Ubisoft's decision to publish the acquisition on its official news platform suggests the publisher sees Jynxzi's ownership as an event worth amplifying for the Siege community.
