Chappelle Adds Second MSG Show as Karmageddon Tickets Sell

Dave Chappelle is hitting the road this fall on his 'Karmageddon' tour, playing seven announced dates across October and November, per Cassius Life, which reports Rolling Stone as its source. The run opens in Nashville on Oct. 20 and closes at the 22nd New York Comedy Festival at Madison Square Garden. According to the New York Post, demand has been strong enough that a second Garden show was added: Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7, both at 7:30 p.m., as part of the 2026 New York Comedy Festival. Tickets went on sale Thursday, Sept. 17 at noon local time through Live Nation, with a Citi cardholder presale that began Sept. 15.

A single MSG date closing a comedy tour is already a rare feat, but the New York Post reports that 'overwhelming demand' pushed Chappelle to add a Saturday, Nov. 7 show on top of the Nov. 6 festival date. Cassius Life's original rundown listed only Nov. 6 as the tour's finale, so the second night represents a mid-sale expansion of the routing. The Garden booking also carries symbolic weight: festival founder Caroline Hirsch told Rolling Stone, per Cassius Life, that Chappelle is 'one of the defining comedians of his generation' and that having him close his tour by opening her festival is 'spectacular.'

Both pack outlets list the same routing: Nashville (Oct. 20, Bridgestone Arena), Charlotte (Oct. 21), Toronto (Oct. 23), Louisville (Oct. 24), Austin (Oct. 26) and Houston (Oct. 28), before New York. The New York Post, citing StubHub at publication time, reports the lowest seats for either MSG night at $156 including fees, with the Nov. 6 date listed from $160, and floor-level seats from $387 to $388 including fees. The Post also notes Chappelle, 53, will first appear at the first-ever Fastball Comedy Festival, Oct. 17-18 at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, alongside Bill Burr, Tom Segura, Rachel Feinstein and Andrew Santino.

Karmageddon will be a tech-free experience, according to Cassius Life: phones, smartwatches and other devices will be locked in Yondr pouches, unlockable only in designated areas or at show's end, and anyone who uses a phone during the set will be asked to leave. The policy matters for fans hoping to clip or share material, since the Post reports that recent live sets have touched on sensitive material and drawn sharply mixed reactions from reviewers it cites. A busy 2026 — the sixth Summer Camp in Yellow Springs, an August Diaspora Calling! Festival in London with Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, and a 9/11 charities benefit with Jon Stewart and Bill Burr, per Cassius Life — has kept Chappelle in the conversation heading into the Garden run.

With tickets now on sale through Live Nation, the immediate question is how fast the second Garden night moves and whether further dates get added.
