HYBE says BTS may extend the 'Arirang' tour into 2027 and is preparing new music plus both group and solo projects, per earnings-call remarks.
HYBE teases more 'Arirang' dates beyond the announced finale
The 'Arirang' world tour is currently slated to close with three nights — March 13, 14 and 16 — at the Philippine Arena, but Hybe says touring would continue through the first half of 2027.
According to philstar.com, agency chief Lee Jae-sang told an earnings call that talks are being held with the seven members about their plans after the tour, adding, "We plan to announce additional dates for the tour and are also preparing for the group's post-tour activities, including both group and solo projects."
Variety India reports that dates from Japan and the Middle East are expected to be announced soon, on top of recently introduced concerts in Australia and additional shows in Hong Kong and the Philippines.
A record-breaking run behind the decision
The extension talk comes on the back of the tour's extraordinary commercial performance. Both outlets report that Hybe posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue and operating profit in the third quarter, driven largely by BTS.
philstar.com reports BTS concert sales generated 726.8 billion won (about P34.2 billion) from shows in Europe and the United States, while Variety India notes the septet drew up to 70,000 fans per show and helped push Hybe past 4 trillion won ($2.98 billion) in annual revenue — the first K-pop agency to reach that mark.
Variety India also credits tours by Enhypen, Le Sserafim and Katseye, alongside merchandise, licensing, and album and streaming sales, for the wider growth.
The Philippines return after a decade
philstar.com frames the finale through a fan lens: the March 2027 Philippine Arena dates mark BTS's return to the country after roughly ten years, which explains why the three-night closing run carries such weight for local ARMY.
With the group's last announced dates now possibly not the end, fans tracking the schedule have reason to expect more stops after the Philippine Arena curtain call.
What comes after 'Arirang'
Both philstar.com and Variety India quote the label's line that BTS "plans to work on new music and pursue diverse projects simultaneously to expand its reach." Variety India notes the group is expected to keep touring through the first half of 2027 before those post-tour activities begin.
Lee Jae-sang also said projects are being prepared for all Hybe artists, with the stated goal to "unlock greater possibilities and move toward the future without resting on its laurels" — suggesting group and solo work will run in parallel rather than one replacing the other.
