Gnarls Barkley Detail First UK Shows in 18 Years

NME reports Gnarls Barkley's 'To Whom It Still Concerns' tour reaches Manchester, Glasgow, Wolverhampton and London this December after an 18-year gap.

According to NME, Gnarls Barkley will bring their 'To Whom It Still Concerns' tour to the UK for four shows in December 2026: Manchester Academy on December 8, Glasgow's O2 Academy on December 9, Wolverhampton Civic Hall on December 11, and the new British Airways ARC venue in London on December 12. The dates follow a North American leg that begins at The Masonic in San Francisco on November 5 and closes at Chicago's House Of Blues on November 28.

NME notes these are the duo's first live dates since 2008, making the December run the pair's first UK appearances on stage in eighteen years. The tour follows a comeback that began earlier in 2026, when CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse ended an 18-year recording hiatus with 'Pictures', the lead single from their third and self-described final album 'Atlanta', which NME reports arrived in March after 2006's 'St. Elsewhere' and 2008's 'The Odd Couple'.

For UK fans, NME reports an artist pre-sale opens at 10am BST on Wednesday, September 23, with general sale following at the same time on Friday, September 25. Across the Atlantic, Citi and Spotify pre-sales begin Monday, September 21, ahead of an artist pre-sale on Wednesday and general sale at 10am local time on Thursday, September 24, per NME's rundown of the on-sale schedule.

In quotes carried by NME, Green described the tour as operating 'like an open book, exploring the universal matters of life, death and everything in between', and told fans: 'These songs are the silver lining to an otherwise sad story. Come, and let's celebrate together the beautiful madness of it all.' NME also relays that Green called comeback single 'Pictures' a 'full circle moment' drawn from a childhood experience, 'like going back to square one'.

The tour is a chance to restore the live legacy of the duo who, as NME recounts, broke through internationally in 2006 when 'Crazy' became the first single to top the UK charts based solely on digital downloads, holding Number One for nine consecutive weeks. Framing 'Atlanta' as a 'capstone to the Gnarls Barkley story', the duo present these winter dates as the closing chapter of a catalog fans have waited nearly two decades to hear in person.
