A24's full trailer for Nathan Fielder's 'You Can See Everything' shows him moving in with Elizabeth Holmes before prison — and making her cry.

A24 released the full trailer Wednesday for 'You Can See Everything,' the secretive documentary Nathan Fielder co-directed with Lance Oppenheim. According to Variety, the 174-minute film follows Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in her final days of freedom and first weeks of imprisonment, with the official logline promising 'a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss.' The New York Post reports Fielder moved into a room in Holmes' house for a month before she reported to a federal prison camp in May 2023, capturing her washing dishes near her baby and, at one point, shedding a tear as she told him it took a long time to be okay letting someone see her cry.

Yahoo reports that in the trailer's opening scene Fielder asks Holmes directly, 'You really feel you did nothing wrong?' and she answers, 'I did not,' adding she wishes she understood where things got lost. The Post notes an earlier teaser went viral after viewers noticed Holmes failed to blink while telling Fielder she is 'always being real.' Holmes was convicted in 2022 on four counts of fraud and sentenced to over 11 years, yet she repeatedly asserts her innocence on film — even as her X account promoted the clip with the caption 'I'm always being real,' per Yahoo.

The film premiered to a full crowd at the Telluride Film Festival, and the reactions cited in the pack are striking. Variety's Owen Gleiberman called it 'a one-of-a-kind reality-TV-as-hangout-movie psychodrama circus,' while Variety's Clayton Davis said it left Telluride's most seasoned attendees 'walking out shell-shocked.' The Hollywood Reporter's Angie Han wrote that the film 'gets excitingly meta and almost surreal' in its second half, confronting the fact that Holmes is in prison and unable to speak for herself, leaving control of her narrative to slip outside her hands again.

Variety describes the top-secret doc as 'heating up awards season,' and the Hollywood Reporter reports it has joined the New York Film Festival's Spotlight Lineup, debuting there on September 30 after its surprise Telluride premiere. The Hollywood Reporter notes the film was created in secret over four years and gives the billionaire-turned-convicted-fraudster a platform for her side of the Theranos story — a company that once hit a $9 billion valuation before dissolving in 2018 when her Edison machine could not reliably do what she claimed.

'You Can See Everything' arrives in theaters October 16 following its brief festival tour, per Variety, Yahoo and The Hollywood Reporter. Meanwhile, Holmes remains incarcerated at a federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas; the New York Post reports she is eligible for early release on December 30, 2031, and has maintained her innocence and even lobbied President Trump to commute her sentence.
